Governor Gavin Newsom, alongside state and local leaders, will be hosting a virtual press conference today to announce new awards aimed at resolving encampments across the state. The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 18, 2024, at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Joining Governor Newsom at the press conference will be BCSH Secretary Tomiquia Moss, San Mateo County CEO Mike Callagy, Los Angeles County CEO Fesia Davenport, Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer, and San Bernardino Mayor Helen Tran.
