Long Le-Khac, with a B.A. in English from Harvard University in 2006 and a Ph.D. in English from Stanford University in 2015, has joined our faculty to teach Ethnic Studies. His research interests encompass a broad spectrum as he delves into the connections between different racial groups, focusing particularly on Asian Americans and Latinxs. As Le-Khac himself explains, "I study the literary, cultural, political and historical relationships linking distinct racial groups — especially Asian Americans and Latinxs — and the solidarities possible in these relationships."
Aside from his academic pursuits, Long Le-Khac also brings a creative touch to the faculty, being a musician and self-proclaimed "obsessive music fan." This unique blend of academic rigor and artistic passion promises to enrich the learning experience for students and colleagues alike.
In welcoming Long Le-Khac to our faculty, we look forward to the diverse perspectives and innovative contributions he will bring to the field of Ethnic Studies.
