Congressman Brad Sherman, representing California's 32nd district since 1997, has recently shared his views on international and domestic issues through a series of tweets. Sherman, a Los Angeles native with degrees from UCLA and Harvard University, has been active in addressing matters concerning human rights, international relations, and domestic policy.

On November 26, 2024, Congressman Sherman addressed the situation in Pakistan by calling on its authorities to uphold human rights and fundamental freedoms while maintaining law and order. He emphasized the importance of respecting Pakistan's laws and constitution in this process. "At the same time, we call on Pakistani authorities to respect human rights and fundamental freedoms and to ensure respect for Pakistan's laws and constitution as they work to maintain law and order," he stated in response to a question.

Later that day, Sherman expressed support for President Biden's efforts in brokering a ceasefire involving Israel. He highlighted the strategic importance of allowing Israel to focus more on Hamas and Iran while holding Hezbollah accountable for any agreement violations. "We need to applaud Biden for brokering this ceasefire. Now #Israel can focus a bit less on its Northern front and more on #Hamas and #Iran. It’s critical that #Hezbollah is held to account for any violations of that agreement."

In another tweet posted shortly after, Sherman commented on domestic political dynamics regarding tax evasion issues. He criticized Republicans' lack of cooperation in resolving these matters while making a pointed remark about the Freedom Caucus members' motivations. "We shouldn’t expect cooperation from Republicans to resolve this matter. Every time a billionaire cheats on his taxes, a member of the Freedom Caucus earns his wings."
