Donald Trump hadn't yet claimed victory. But the West Hollywood-based “Trevor Project” was predicting it.

The self-described “suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization” for homosexual and cross-dressing teens issued an Election Day press release before the polls closed.

Its message: gay teens in America were very upset and would start killing themselves if Trump defeated Kamala Harris.

Hours before the polls closed, the "Trevor Project" proclaimed it saw a “nearly 200% increase in election conversations across its crisis services" on the Sunday and Monday before Election Day, as compared with the previous two days.

The project's CEO, a woman who claims to be neither male nor female and asks to be referred to as "they," named Jaymes Black, said there was a simple answer as to why.

Fueled by growing public awareness and ensuing outrage, a Trump victory meant that soon, taxpayers would no longer fund teen sex change surgeries.

Cross-dressing boys would no longer be allowed to play girls high school sports. Nor would adult men be able to dress up as scantily-clad women to "perform" for young children in school and community libraries, a practice known as "drag queen story hour."

These public policy changes were driving a spike in cross-dressing youth “suicide attempts,” according to Black. He said the Trevor Group's "research" showed they were up 72%.

“While alarming, we are not surprised to see that the wave of anti-LGBTQ+ politics of the past few years continue to harm young people’s mental health,” said Black.

In its "Coming Out Handbook," the Trevor Project asserts that there is no such thing as biological sex, claiming doctors should not assign a child's sex "before they can speak, walk, or know themselves."

The handbook encourages children to "live their truth" and to get surgery to remove their genitals if they feel they are a different sex than their biological one, suggesting it can lead to a happiness it calls "gender euphoria."

"Gender euphoria is defined as satisfaction or joy caused when one’s gendered experience aligns with their gender identity, rather than with the gender they were assigned at birth," the Trevor Project said.

"One young person explained that they felt happy when “my mom [bought] me boxers instead of panties," it reported.

“Rainbow Tier”

The Trevor Project spent $105 million last year promoting its ideology to American children. About a quarter came from taxpayers.

But most of the money spent by Black came from private donations, according to the group's annual report.

Large corporations make up the Trevor Project's largest segment of that private support, contributing tens of millions to the organization.

The non-profit's largest donors-- it's "Rainbow Tier," as promoted on its web site, includes Abercrombie & Fitch, AT & T, Google, Lululemon, PwC, Proctor & Gamble, Deloitte, Macy's and game publisher Wizards of the Coast. All nine corporations donated more than $1 million to the Trevor Project in 2023.

Disney, Humble Bundle, Gilead Sciences and That Game Company donated more than $500,000 to the Trevor Project.

Williams-Sonoma, Harry's Inc., SPARC Brands, Coca-Cola, Xbox, Saks Fifth Avenue, Wildfang, David Yurman, United Airlines, Gen Digital, Elevance Health and Hot Topic Clothing donated more than $250,000.

Other Trevor Project donors include Salesforce, Verizon, Baker Hughes, Weyerhaeuser, Liberty Mutual, Meijer, Paylocity, Ally Financial, Youtube, Caesars Entertainment, Gucci, General Motors, Kate Spade New York, Comcast, Wells Fargo, PUMA, Kiehl's USA, Ernst & Young, Chipolte, Sephora, Petco, Dutch Brothers Coffee, Rite Aid, Kohl's, Panera Bread, CVS Health, Netflix, Vitamin Water, Jimmy Choo, La Roche-Posay, Fossil, Warner Brothers Discovery and H & M.

Professional sports leagues the National Football League (NFL), NASCAR, and the WNBA as well as the Los Angeles Lakers are all financial supporters of the Trevor Project.

On Dec. 14, gay former NFL player Carl Nassib announced he joined the Trevor Project board of directors, claiming he was happy to “continue supporting their life-saving work to end suicide among (homosexual) youth.”
