Congressman Brad Sherman, representing California's 32nd district since 1997, has recently taken to social media to express his views on several political issues. Born in Los Angeles and a graduate of UCLA and Harvard University, Sherman has been a vocal presence in U.S. politics.

On December 6, 2024, Congressman Sherman addressed claims regarding former President Donald Trump's political mandate. He stated that "#Trump has no mandate to make it illegal for a pregnant woman to cross state lines." He further mentioned that Trump lacks the mandate "to deport 20 million people, trash NATO or slash Social Security."

In another post on the same day, Sherman criticized the Republican assertion of Trump's mandate by stating "Republicans claim #Trump has a mandate. Mandate my ass! He beat Harris by 1.5%, a margin so small I need a magnifying glass to see it."

On December 9, 2024, Sherman voiced his disapproval of the International Criminal Court's decision regarding Israeli officials. He tweeted that "The #ICC’s illegitimate, political decision to issue arrest warrants for Israeli officials not only violates the ICC’s mandate & jurisdiction but also rewards Hamas’ human shields tactics." Sherman expressed pride in leading efforts to ensure U.S. collaboration with allies in rejecting this decision.
