Congressman Brad Sherman, representing California's 32nd district since 1997, recently addressed several pressing issues through his social media platform. Sherman's tweets touched on infrastructure challenges and humanitarian concerns, providing insights into both local and international matters.

On February 1, 2025, Congressman Sherman highlighted a significant failure in the water delivery system affecting the Pacific Palisades area. He stated that "The water delivery system in the #PacificPalisades was unable to move water uphill into the Palisades in the quantities necessary to fight the biggest property damage fire in the history of America."

In another tweet on the same day, Sherman criticized former President Trump's handling of Northern California's water situation. He noted that "Also, as I understand it, President Trump has done nothing with regard to Northern California water. A pumping station was closed for three days for maintenance and now it’s open, as it was throughout the Biden administration."

Later that day, Sherman expressed joy over the release of hostages held by Hamas. He tweeted about their return: "I am overjoyed to see hostages Ofer Kalderon, Yarden Bibas, & Israeli-American Keith Siegel return home to their families after 484 days in brutal Hamas captivity. This December, I met Keith’s wife Aviva - a released hostage who fought relentlessly for her husband’s return."
