Rep. Norma Torres, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California's 35th district, shared a series of tweets addressing significant topics including Black History Month, World Cancer Day, and an upcoming tele-townhall on immigration rights.

On February 3, 2025, Rep. Torres highlighted the importance of Black History Month by acknowledging the resilience and contributions of Black Americans. She stated, "Black History Month is a time to honor the resilience and contributions of a community that has long fought for justice and equality. Through historic struggles and triumphs, Black Americans continue to inspire us to stand firm in the fight for freedom, no matter the adversity."

The following day, February 4, 2025, she turned her attention to World Cancer Day. In her tweet, she emphasized the importance of supporting cancer survivors and investing in research. She tweeted, "On #WorldCancerDay, we honor survivors, support those fighting, and remember those we've lost. It's critical that we continue investing in cancer research to improve treatments, save lives, and close the care gap."

On February 5, 2025, Rep. Torres announced an upcoming tele-townhall focused on immigration rights. She invited individuals to join this event aimed at providing key resources and information from experts. Her tweet read: "Join our Tele-townhall: Know Your Rights! I'm hosting a tele-townhall on immigration rights with experts to help you stay informed and protected. Don’t miss this chance to get key resources and answers to your questions!"
