Congressman Brad Sherman, representing California's 32nd district since 1997, shared a series of tweets on February 7, 2025. These tweets covered his involvement in the Jewish Caucus of the House of Representatives and his stance on various political issues.

On February 7, Sherman expressed satisfaction with the formation of the new Jewish Caucus in the House of Representatives. He noted that previously, members had met informally but now have an official caucus. "Pleased to have joined the inaugural meeting of the new Jewish Caucus of the House of Representatives. Until now we’ve just been a group that meets on an ad hoc basis -- Now we’re a Caucus."

Later that day, Sherman addressed efforts by former President Trump and Republicans regarding wildfire aid to California. He criticized their attempts to condition this aid and defended California against what he described as politicization during one of the worst fire disasters in U.S. history. "Today on the House Floor, I vehemently denounced efforts by #Trump and Republicans to condition wildfire aid to California and also defended my state against their outrageous attempts to politicize the worst fire disaster in our nation’s history."

In another tweet posted shortly after, Sherman voiced concerns about Trump's initiatives aimed at dismantling key intelligence agencies such as the CIA and FBI. He warned that these actions could endanger American lives and explained his position further during a speech on the House Floor. "Trump’s efforts to dismantle the CIA and the FBI endangers the lives of every American."
