Congressman Brad Sherman, representing California's 32nd district since 1997, recently expressed his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Born in Los Angeles in 1954 and currently residing in Sherman Oaks, Sherman has been an active member of the U.S. Congress for several decades.

On March 21, 2025, Congressman Sherman criticized the Trump administration's stance on Social Security recipients. He stated: "According to the Trump admin, people who complain if their Social Security check doesn’t come for a month are mostly fraudsters. This SOB can’t imagine it’s somebody who actually needs the money to live. His model is his mother-in-law who has a billionaire as a son-in-law."

In another tweet dated March 24, 2025, Sherman questioned the competence of those potentially taking over significant governmental roles: "What if complete amateurs took control of the Pentagon and our foreign policy?"

Later that day, he addressed Donald Trump's announcement regarding tariffs and oil trade with Venezuela: "#DonaldTrump has announced that he wants to impose a 25% tariff on the United States. The U.S. purchases oil from Venezuela, pursuant to a license the Trump administration provided to Chevron. Of course, that license expires on May 27—unless Trump extends it again."
