Winchester home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Winchester rose by $9,250 while total sales decreased by 8.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 136 homes sold, with a median sale price of $438,750 - a 2.2% increase over the $429,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 148 homes sold in Winchester in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Winchester for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,805, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
