Nearly 8,000 graduates and 20,000 family members and friends gathered at California Memorial Stadium for UC Berkeley's spring commencement on Saturday. Amid the celebrations and protests, UC Berkeley Chancellor Carol Christ addressed the graduates.
“As you stand at one of life’s great crossroads, take a deep breath … pause … reflect … and consider the road you have traveled, and all of that you can and will carry with you from Berkeley into your personal and professional futures,” Christ urged.
