Despite reduced activity on campus during the summer, several food and coffee options remain available on weekdays. The Coffee House and CoHo South offer various items including coffee, bagels, pizza, sushi, and sandwiches from Monday to Friday. Swirlz Bakery, Ciao, Fickle Pickle Deli, and Mandalay Express are operational within the Coffee House. Grab-and-go items are available at the CoHo Marketplace. The CoHo operates from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with some platforms closing earlier; complete hours are listed online. CoHo South is open from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dining Services provides a list of open facilities this summer:

- Segundo Dining Commons serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.

- Tercero Market is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.

- Sage Street Market and Café operates weekdays with the café open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the market from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

- Scrubs Café serves coffee weekdays from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with grill and bar service from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Food trucks will be present at the Silo Patio each weekday.

The Memorial Union is open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with detailed hours available online alongside those for the Memorial Union Games Area.

Shields Library's hours vary weekly but are posted online; its 24-Hour Study Room remains accessible throughout summer.

Transportation Services requires paid parking permits on all weekdays during summer months and continues motorist assistance services for issues such as lockouts or jump starts.

Unitrans follows its summer schedule while preparing for fare increases effective August 5th:

- Cash fare will rise by $0.25 to $1.50.

- Other passes will see price adjustments:

- A ten-ride ticket will cost $8.50 (previously $7.50).

- Monthly passes will be priced at $34 (previously $30).

- Quarterly passes will cost $87 (previously $77).

- Annual passes will be priced at $245 (previously $216).

Additional fare increases for multi-ride passes are planned for implementation in 2025 following approval by the Unitrans Advisory Committee and Davis City Council earlier this year.

This fall, Unitrans plans new departures on lines A, K, M, as well as an added stop on line O near Cambridge House Apartments starting September 28th. A fare-free Farmers Market Shuttle pilot program will commence Saturday mornings using vintage double-decker buses between Memorial Union Terminal and Downtown Davis every half hour between 9 a.m.-noon until June next year when it will be evaluated.
