On January 28, 2025, Rep. Torres addressed the issue of mass deportations happening across the country. She emphasized the importance of knowing one's rights and urged individuals to share this information with their families and loved ones. The following day, on January 29, 2025, Rep. Torres expressed her admiration for a visit to eSTEM Academy where she witnessed the work of future innovators in fields such as engineering and medicine. She tweeted about her excitement in supporting local STEM education: "Honored to visit @eSTEMacademy today and see the incredible work of our future innovators...
