On February 3, 2025, Sherman announced his collaboration with other officials to address environmental hazards stemming from the Los Angeles fires. "Today I joined @RepFriedmanCA, @RepJudyChu, Rep. George Whitesides and other key officials to bring attention to the dangerous toxins released into our air from the devastating #LosAngelesFires and urge immediate action to address this dangerous public health crisis."

Later that day, he provided information for those looking to assist with relief efforts related to the fires. "If you are interested in helping with relief efforts for the #LosAngelesFires, please visit the LA county website:"

In another post dated February 4, 2025, Sherman expressed concern over geopolitical issues affecting several countries. He described a situation as beneficial for certain regimes around the world.
