Congressman Brad Sherman, representing California's 32nd district since 1997, has shared his views on recent developments through a series of tweets. These posts reflect his stance on maintaining the independence of the Federal Reserve, as well as updates on local recovery efforts and political changes.

On February 12, 2025, Congressman Sherman expressed support for Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell during a House Financial Services Committee hearing. He highlighted Powell's bipartisan backing in Washington and urged him to uphold the Fed's independence amidst external pressures. Sherman stated, "Fed Chairman Jerome Powell might be one of the only people left in Washington with support on both sides of the aisle."

Later that day, he announced an upcoming telephone town hall meeting scheduled for that evening at 7 PM. The session aimed to provide updates on various issues including recovery from the Palisades Fire, Trump's return to the White House, and Elon Musk's involvement in government matters. FEMA Regional Administrator Bob Fenton was set to join as a special guest. Sherman invited constituents by tweeting: "Join our Telephone #TownHall Tonight at 7 PM"

On February 13, 2025, Sherman reminded followers about the town hall meeting starting shortly at 7 PM and reiterated details for joining via phone call. He emphasized Fenton's participation to discuss wildfire assistance efforts. Sherman's tweet read: "Our Telephone #TownHall will be starting in 1 hour at 7 PM"
