Congressman Brad Sherman, representing California's 32nd district since 1997, has been active on social media, sharing his views and activities through a series of tweets. Born in Los Angeles in 1954, Sherman graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1974 and earned a JD from Harvard University in 1979. He currently resides in Sherman Oaks.

On February 18, 2025, Congressman Sherman addressed the recent natural disasters affecting Kentucky. "Kentucky was recently devastated by severe storms, straight-line winds, flooding, and landslides. Hundreds of people have had their lives uprooted and at least twelve people have lost their lives," he stated. He expressed his support for federal aid to assist victims within federally declared disaster areas.

The following day, February 19, Sherman tweeted about his engagement with students advocating for U.S.-Israel relations. "Nice meeting with students from the @UCLA Bruins for #Israel Public Affairs Committee advocating for a strong U.S. – Israel relationship and a learning environment free of antisemitic harassment," he wrote.

Later on February 19, Congressman Sherman announced a significant grant aimed at wildfire prevention measures. "As wildfires continue to threaten our communities, we must take proactive measures to prevent them," he remarked while presenting a Federal Grant of $1,383,069 to the City of Hidden Hills for undergrounding high-voltage power lines to mitigate fire hazards.
