Congressman Brad Sherman, representing California's 32nd district since 1997, shared a series of tweets discussing key issues and developments on March 10, 2025. Sherman's tweets address disaster aid extensions for wildfire victims and critique the economic policies of former President Donald Trump.

In his first tweet, Sherman expressed relief over a deadline extension for disaster aid applications, while maintaining his stance for further extensions. "While I have fought for a later deadline, this three-week extension provides immediate relief to those who have not registered yet." He noted that the new deadline is set for March 31 and indicated that further extensions are unlikely.

Sherman highlighted an announcement from FEMA and SBA regarding an extended deadline for wildfire victims in Los Angeles to apply for aid. "FEMA and SBA have announced that the deadline for victims of the January #LosAngelesWildfires to apply for aid has been extended by 21 days." He urged individuals uncertain about their eligibility to still submit applications before the new March 31 deadline.

In another tweet, Sherman commented on the economic landscape under recent presidential administrations. "Biden was able to avoid a recession, even with the Covid disruption." He contrasted this with Trump's tenure, stating that Trump inherited a strong economy but left behind challenges due to what he termed as "chaotic policies."
