CITY OF BRISBANE: DTSC Public Comment Period on OU-SM Cleanup Plan Begins 11-16-20

City of Brisbane issued the following announcement on Nov 12.

The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has announced the draft Feasibility Study/Remedial Action Plan (FS/RAP) for the environmental/soils cleanup of the OU-SM portion of the Brisbane Baylands site will be available for public comment from November 16 - February 15, 2021.

DTSC will mail a fact sheet about the proposed cleanup plan to all Brisbane residents and will be hosting a public meeting via Zoom on January 7, 2021 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. You can access the Zoom meeting via: https://bit.ly/38vWZCH.

To help community members view the draft FS/RAP, DTSC will have an electronic copy of the report available at its Envirostor website and hard copies of the report available at the following locations:

  • Brisbane City Hall, 50 Park Place, Brisbane CA, 94005; Mondays and Thursdays from 9am - 1pm; ask for documents at the front desk
  • FACES SF, 1099 Sunnydale Ave., 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94134; Mondays-Thursdays from 9am - 4pm; by appointment only, please call (415) 239-8705 x1
