Fresno State University Athletics issued the following announcement on Dec 3.
The Fresno State swimming and diving team will open its 2020-21 season by hosting San Diego State and San Jose State for a two-day meet on Dec. 4-5 at the Fresno State Aquatics Center.
"We are very excited for our season getting started this weekend against two of our greatest Mountain West rivalries and it will be nice to see where our teams are at," Fresno State head coach Jeanne Fleck said. "We are very conscious of what is going on in the world, and we want to make sure our athletes have a great experience this year, have fun and compete in a safe environment."
Friday's season-opening meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. PT and Saturday's competition starts at 10 a.m. PT. Due to current state guidelines, fans are not able to attend home meets at the Fresno State Aquatics Center during the 2020-21 season. Meets and times are subject to change.
The Bulldog divers are scheduled to also participate in the UCLA Invite on Jan. 14-16.
The Fresno State swimmers and divers will then close out the regular season with home meets against UC Davis on Jan. 23 and San Jose State on Jan. 30.
Details related to the 2021 Mountain West swimming and diving championships are still being finalized, and will be shared when available.
