The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office has released the identity of an inmate who died from an apparent suicide at the Main Jail. The deceased is Cecilia Michelle Covarrubias, aged 41, from Santa Ynez.
The Coroner’s Bureau has informed Covarrubias's family about her death. The cause and manner of death are still under investigation.
Authorities have stated that they will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
