Republican representative of California's 23rd District, Kevin McCarthy, has criticized President Joe Biden's executive orders, saying he should prioritize jobs.

He took to Twitter to air his sentiments, contrasting what he regarded as the country's top priorities with Biden's.

"Our nation’s top priorities should be getting ⇨ People back to work ⇨ Kids back to school ⇨ Vaccines to those who want them President Biden’s priorities: ⇨ Destroying KeystoneXL jobs ⇨ Giving citizenship to illegal immigrants ⇨ Raising energy costs on American families," he said.

He also said that instead of rushing to give 11 million illegal immigrants citizenship, Biden should have unified the nation through meeting the people's needs and job creation for over 10 million unemployed Americans.

"Every day for the next four years, Americans must measure policy proposals from the Biden Administration against a simple question: will it help Americans in need? So far, there are a few that could be met with yes. But most flatly do not."

Republicans have criticized Biden's executive orders calling them 'damaging' and biased toward the left half of Congress. On Wednesday, Biden's Administration announced his intention to reverse many actions of his predecessor's administration.
