Congressman Brad Sherman, representing California's 32nd district, has been active on social media addressing various issues. Serving since 1997, Sherman often uses his platform to discuss national matters. His recent tweets have covered topics from narcotics to disaster aid and political appointments.

On January 22, 2025, Congressman Sherman expressed concerns about the impact of narcotics in America. He stated that "Narcotics have ruined millions of American lives and caused many thousands of violent crimes." He emphasized that the source of purchase, whether online or through cryptocurrency, does not lessen their harmfulness.

Two days later, on January 24, 2025, Sherman addressed comments made by former President Trump regarding aid for Californians affected by fires. He tweeted: "Trump claims the individual Californians devastated by the fires should get no aid until California changes its laws on subjects that have nothing to do with fire." Sherman questioned whether Democrats should adopt a similar stance concerning hurricane relief in Louisiana related to abortion laws.

Finally, on January 25, 2025, Sherman commented on a gathering organized by the Trump White House. He pointed out the composition of attendees by stating: "Keep in mind the Trump White House selected everyone in the room." This selection included mostly Trump supporters along with six elected Democrats.
