Congressman Brad Sherman, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing California's 32nd district since 1997, shared his thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets. Born in Los Angeles in 1954, Sherman is a graduate of UCLA and Harvard University.

On January 25, 2025, Congressman Sherman commented on the state of Florida's insurance market, stating: "So, the Florida insurance market is not working well. And Donald Trump can’t blame any California elected official for that."

Later that day, Sherman discussed his recent appearance on CNN regarding a confrontation with former President Donald Trump over conditions on wildfire aid to California. He tweeted: "I joined @CNN to discuss my confrontation with @realDonaldTrump last night over him wanting to make California wildfire aid conditional."

On January 26, 2025, Sherman expressed gratitude towards the City of Malibu and Malibu High School for hosting a Town Hall event. He noted: "Grateful to the City of Malibu and to Malibu High School for hosting this evening’s Town Hall. And thanks to all who participated, helping connect residents with recovery resources."
